Terms of Use

Legal terms for the Naruto Destination Mod.

By downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Naruto Destination Mod (hereafter referred to as "the Mod"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Use of the Mod

The Mod is provided "as is" for both personal and commercial use. The Mod may be used on private or public servers.

2. Monetization Restrictions

2.1 General Prohibition

The sale, trade, or exchange for real-world currency or equivalent value of any gameplay advantage derived from or relating to the Mod's content, features, items, abilities, progression mechanics, or gameplay elements (collectively, "Mod Content") is strictly prohibited, except as expressly permitted under Section 2.3.

Any monetization practice not explicitly authorized by Section 2.3 shall be deemed prohibited. This prohibition includes, without limitation:

  • Stat increases, experience points, levels, skill points, jutsu points, reset points, or any form of character progression
  • Dojutsu (other than those listed in Section 2.3), sage modes, curse marks, karma seals, tailed beasts, Otsutsuki powers, or any unlockable ability, power, or mode
  • Weapons, tools, equipment, or items that affect combat performance or player statistics
  • Ranks or titles that alter gameplay mechanics, experience gain rates, or access to Mod features
  • Any item, token, or mechanism that accelerates, bypasses, or otherwise shortens normal gameplay progression
  • Any Mod feature that is not reasonably obtainable through normal gameplay

2.2 Chance-Based Monetization

No Mod Content may be included, directly or indirectly, in any monetized chance-based mechanism. This includes, without limitation, loot boxes, loot crates, gacha systems, raffles, lotteries, mystery boxes, roulette, or any other mechanism where the outcome is determined in whole or in part by chance. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the mechanism is purchased with real-world currency, an intermediary virtual currency, or through any other indirect monetization scheme.

2.3 Permitted Exceptions

The following may be sold, provided that each item is also reasonably obtainable through normal gameplay on the server in question:

  • Sharingan, Byakugan, or Ketsuryugan
  • Clans, nature releases, and weapons

Additionally, the following may be sold without restriction:

  • Purely cosmetic items that have no effect whatsoever on gameplay, statistics, combat performance, or progression (e.g., Mangekyo Sharingan patterns)
  • Server access, ranks, or perks that are entirely unrelated to the Mod's gameplay mechanics
  • An XP Event started for the entire server over the NarutoDestinationXPEvent add-on mod

No other Mod Content may be monetized under any circumstances. If a monetization practice is not explicitly listed in this Section 2.3, it is prohibited.

3. Mod Redistribution

Redistribution of the Mod, in whole or in part, in any form (modified or unmodified), is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the creators. Decompilation, reverse engineering, or unauthorized modification of the Mod's files is not permitted.

4. Server Operator Obligations

Server operators are solely responsible for ensuring that their server and all associated monetization practices are in full compliance with these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All code, assets, textures, and concepts comprising the Mod are and shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of its creators and collaborators. Use of the Mod does not grant ownership or derivative rights to any included content.

6. Liability Disclaimer

The creators of the Mod are not responsible for any damages, data loss, or conflicts resulting from its use. The Mod may alter game files — it is recommended to back up all data prior to installation.

7. Updates and Support

The creators reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Mod and/or these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the Mod following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Technical support is offered at the creators' discretion and is not guaranteed.

8. Enforcement

Any violation of these Terms, or any monetization practice that the creators, at their sole and absolute discretion, deem to constitute a pay-to-win system or to otherwise confer an unfair gameplay advantage through paid means, may result in:

  • Immediate removal of the offending server's advertisement or listing from any official Naruto Destination platform, including the Discord server
  • Permanent prohibition from future advertising or listing on said platforms
  • Any other remedies the creators deem appropriate

The creators' determination as to whether a monetization practice violates these Terms shall be final and not subject to appeal.

9. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
